At the heart of the constitution of the Friends of Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve there is a commitment to education through conservation on the reserve.

Why visit?

There are fantastic learning opportunities for all ages at Old Sneed Park Nature Reserve (OSPNR). A wildlife haven, the reserve is a secluded piece of countryside in Sneyd Park, Bristol. It boasts a lake with a pond dipping platform, woodlands and wildflower meadows.

The reserve is free and open to the public all year round.

Go on a bug hunt, identify living things and their habitats, embark on a senses nature scavenger hunt, or take your group on a pond dipping wildlife adventure!

The opportunities for outdoor learning are vast!

Where to find us?

The main entrance to the Nature Reserve is near the south-eastern corner of Glenavon Park, BS9 1RW (at Grid Ref. ST558 757).
